Our care
for the environment

Culture of sensitivity and projects that look to the future.

Packaging is a product that by its very nature has a very short life cycle. That is why we do our utmost to extend the life of the material, trying to give concrete answers to an issue that affects us all very closely.

We work every day to design and develop products and processes that reduce their environmental impact. Optimizing production, organizing shipments, and above all, using recycled materials and continuing the virtuous path of recovery is our ongoing commitment

Circular economy of cardboard,
a virtuous process.

Recovery of by-product waste
from box production

We collect scraps derived from corrugated cardboard production lines and direct them for recovery. All scraps of material are compacted into classic "bales of pressed cardboard" to be fully recycled.

1

Shredding and pulping

The first step in regenerating cardboard is to dismember it by breaking the paper fibers into very small pieces. Once shredded, the cardboard is mixed with water and chemicals. This further reduces the fibers and results in a liquid mixture.

2

Filtering

The resulting mixture goes through a filtering process to remove any contaminants that may have remained (e.g., string, glue, or tape).

3

De-inking

Another filtration system, on the other hand, takes care of removing smaller contaminants such as microplastics or metal staples and initiates a process to eliminate printing inks.

4

Finishing and drying

At this point the recovered liquid is ready to be mixed with new paper materials, and then distributed onto a flat conveyor belt for the drying stage. Using automated machinery, excess water is removed, and after drying, the new paper begins to take shape.

5

New remanufactured paper

The paper sheets obtained from the process are corrugated and stored in large rolls or sheets, and are ready to be fed back into the packaging and packaging production cycle.

Four interesting facts about
cardboard recycling

Paperboard from recycling maintains the same quality, durability and strength as new paperboard.

Producing paperboard from recycled waste saves 80 percent water compared to production from virgin materials.

It is estimated that one ton of recycled cardboard avoids the felling of between 12 and 31 trees.

Cardboard waste in landfills accounts for about 40 percent of total municipal waste.

Land and environment

We take care
of the places where we work and live.

We are aware that our production activities can have an impact on the land and the environment, so we are very careful in our choices regarding ecology.
Roots and values

Proudly linked
to our traditions

Made in Italy for us is more than a label to put on a product: it is design culture, knowledge and skill. It is also tradition, landscape and beauty; a philosophy that highlights the tradition of savoir-faire, which allows our products to witness their quality all over the world.

An ambitious goal

We work every day to design and develop products and processes that reduce their environmental impact. Optimizing production, organizing shipments, and above all, using recycled materials and continuing the virtuous path of recovery is our ongoing commitment.
